2007 Conference Summary

The conference offered practical solutions to managing absence effectively and addressed key issues including:

  • developing and updating absence management strategies
  • reducing long-term absence through effective return to work strategies
  • legislation and case law relating to sickness, absence, disability and stress
  • pro-active approaches to employee well-being
  • the role of the line manager.
