We take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including product descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. Where all or part of your order is for publications, payment for those publications (including VAT and delivery charges) will be taken by McGraw-Hill Education when they dispatch your order (see Fulfilment, below). Payment for all other products will be taken by CIPD Enterprises.
4.3
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or subsequently refuses to, or does not, for any reason, authorise payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order.
5. PASSING OF PROPERTY
We will retain the legal ownership of the products until full payment has been made by you and such payment has been received. Legal ownership of the products will immediately revert to us if we refund any such payment to you.

(a) exercise your right of cancellation; and
(b) address any intended cancellation or complaints to the correct place of business.
8. ACCEPTANCE

Issued: December 2004
Please note that this Cancellation and Returns Policy only applies to purchases of publications from the Website. The cancellation of orders for all other products is at the discretion of CIPD. Your statutory rights are not affected.
1. CANCELLATION POLICY

1.2
Orders are generally processed immediately so McGraw-Hill Education may have already prepared your order and arranged for it to be dispatched (if it hasn’t already been dispatched). As a result, you may not be able to stop the order from being sent. If this is the case, once you receive the products you will have to return them to McGraw-Hill Education in accordance with the Returns Policy.
2. RETURNS POLICY
2.1
If for any reason you are unhappy with a publication purchased from CIPD Enterprises, you can return it to McGraw-Hill Education in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received it, and (subject to the terms of this Returns Policy). If the items listed on the dispatch note do not match those contained in your package, please notify McGraw-Hill Education immediately by calling them on the following number (open 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday except for Bank Holidays) 0844 800 3366. Please have the details of your customer order number and the date of your order to hand.
2.3 Step by step guide
Step 1
Return the product(s) to the following address:
CIPD Publishing
McGraw-Hill House
Shoppenhangers Road
Maidenhead
Berkshire
SL6 2QL
If you want to return a product then you must do so within 30 days after the date you received it.
CIPD Enterprises accepts no liability if you return products by any method other than a recorded delivery method (one that requires a signature upon receipt). In any event, CIPD Enterprises accepts no liability in respect of returned products unless and until such returned products have been received by McGraw-Hill Education in their original condition and in their original packaging. Please make sure that the returned package is properly secured and that you have enclosed the necessary returns documentation (including the original delivery note or invoice).
You must retain the recorded delivery receipt for your own purposes in order to provide proof that you have returned the products to McGraw-Hill Education by recorded delivery. This will be required only in the unlikely event that the products are not successfully returned despite being sent by recorded delivery.
Step 2
After the returned items have arrived at McGraw-Hill Education's distribution centre, they will be examined and the appropriate refund will be calculated. You are entitled to reject the products owing to defects in the products or owing to incomplete or incorrect delivery.
If you return products for reasons of incomplete or incorrect delivery, or because the product is defective, you will be refunded:
(a) the price you paid for the products which you have returned (inclusive of the initial delivery charge); and
(b) Arrangements should be made with McGraw-Hill for the collection of the item (by calling a customer service representative on 0844 800 3366). They will arrange for a courier collection, as refunding for P&P costs can be a long and drawn out process. However if a customer has already sent the item back they will be refunded for this, but as stated above it may take some time if the relevant paperwork (receipts) are not returned with the item.
If you return products for any other reason, you will be refunded you the price you paid for the products which you have returned (inclusive of the initial delivery charge), but the return recorded delivery costs for the return carriage of the products from the original delivery point to McGraw-Hill Education will not be refunded.
Please note that returned products that are not in their original condition cannot be accepted. In such circumstances, no refund will be available. You will be responsible for arranging for such products to be returned to you within 30 days of our notification to you that we will not process a refund in respect of such products.
Step 3
McGraw-Hill Education will refund the price paid by you for products (inclusive of the initial delivery charge) when they have received the returned products in their original condition at their distribution centre.
McGraw-Hill Education will refund such sums by crediting your credit/debit card (as applicable).
If you cancel your order but do not return such products within 30 days, we shall be entitled to recover such products from you and to charge you for the direct costs of recovering such products. You should note that these charges (which may be deducted from any refund) could be greater than the cost of you returning the products to us and may exceed the price you have paid for the products. Until such products are restored to us, you are obliged to exercise all reasonable care to store the cancelled products safely and in appropriate conditions.
Step 4
McGraw-Hill Education will process the applicable refund within 30 days after receipt of the products by us.
YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED.
