VENUE : Clarendon Room, Brown's Hotel, Albemarle Street, London W1S 4BP

The employee benefit bill can be a major part of the overall reward spend, so it is important that this spend is attracting, retaining and engaging the people needed to sustain high performance working. However, employers can fail to maximise on this spend by providing benefits that are not tax effective or efficient or by not educating their employees about the benefits on offer and the decisions needed to be made.
But it can also be hard for reward and people managers to keep abreast of the recent developments in employee benefits. There are often changes in how benefits can be taxed and suppliers are often coming up with new benefits, or are adjusting existing ones to make them more appealing to employees in a way that still keeps HMRC happy.
Objectives
This event will:
- touch on all of the above angles - tax, communication and some of the recent developments in the benefits field
- examine the steps you can take to ensure your benefit package is tax effective and efficient
- reveal how one employer is educating employees about its benefits and how it communicates the package to them
- explore developments in company cars, pensions, voluntary and flexible benefits
