Registering and viewing

Getting started
Before you can access the directory, you must first be registered to use our website. If you’re already registered to use our website, ignore this and follow the steps listed under ‘how to add your details’. If you’re not registered, you’ll need to:

1. Go to www.cipd.co.uk
2. Click on 'register', which is located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
3. Enter your membership number, date of birth and postcode. Then click on 'submit'. You will now be a registered user and able to access the directory.

How to add your details to the network directory
When you've registered, you can then add your details to the directory.

1. Go to www.cipd.co.uk
2. Click on the login link (top right-hand corner of screen).
3. Enter your login details (username and password).
4. To access the directory, go to http://www.cipd.co.uk/communities/forums/ccm
5. Click on the online network directory link, which is located under ‘Counselling and Career Management’ in the left-hand navigation bar.
6. Then click on the ‘Access My Profile’ link in the ‘I would like to join the CIPD Counselling and Career Management Forum Network Directory’ box. You will now see your profile.
7. Click the 'My directories' tab in the menu at the top of the screen.
8. Select 'include' to enter the directory.
9. Add or edit your information and tick the agreement box. Then click on ‘save’. Your details will now have been added to our directory.

How to view and search the network directory

1. Log onto www.cipd.co.uk
2. To view the directory, go to http://www.cipd.co.uk/communities/forums/ccm
3. Click on the online network directory link in the left-hand navigation bar.
4. It is possible to search by role, industry sector and specialism. The results selected can be printed from within your browser.
5. To carry out another search, click 'return to search'.
