As an exclusive benefit of CIPD membership, forums offer members an opportunity for face-to-face networking in order to discuss and debate topical HR issues. We are pleased to offer Forum members the opportunity to contribute to new research through the new Focus Group meetings.

We also support the public sector by offering access to a network directory and all our forum meetings aim to include a public sector case study/aspect.
Members working in HR within the Police force can join the CIPD Police Forum.
Events
We hold many different styles of events throughout the year all of which are geared around essential networking:

- interactive workshops
- practically focused meetings linked to the launch of our latest surveys and research reports
- case study led seminars
Membership of forums is free and you can choose to join one or more of our special interest forums. Each group is practitioner-led and aims to support the needs of people management and development professionals. Forum members are often at the forefront of our research.
