Wednesday 9 November
Free: Reflective Practice session, 12:00 - 13:00, Cobden Rooms 3&4, Manchester Central
Reflective practice is the foundation of professional development; it creates meaning from experience and transforms insights into practical strategies for personal growth. Led by Grace Owen, an experienced coach and reflective practitioner, this session will take you through what reflective practice is and how it supports CPD.
Free Networking Drinks, 17:00 - 18:30, Exhibition Hall, Manchester Central
Network and discuss the topics you’ve heard during the day over a complimentary drink exclusively for conference delegates, speakers and suppliers.
Free: Performance-related Pay, Epernay Manchester, 18:45–20:00
Come and join us for a drink and meet other HR professionals in a more relaxed and social setting at Eperney Manchester (just a few minutes' walk from the conference and exhibition). No booking necessary.
Wednesday Night Social, Ft. DJ Tim Scott, FCIPD. 20:30 'til late, Tribeca Bar, 50 Sackville Street, Manchester, M1 3WF
Not content with being a Chartered FCIPD HR generalist, Tim Scott also spent many years as a club DJ and music producer, supporting legendary DJs like Norman Jay MBE and Gilles Peterson. So, in a first for the CIPD's Annual Conference, he is ideally qualified to put together a mix of soulful and funky classics to get HR and L&D folk moving on a Manchester dance floor.
