At a face-to-face open evening, you will have the opportunity to:
+ understand how CIPD Flexible Learning+ works and how it can benefit your
organisation, your current role and your career
+ find out more about the unique blend of workshops, learner resources and support
you'll receive
+ ask questions about the method of study and whether it is suitable for you
+ chat with CIPD and MOL programme managers and workshop facilitators and
hear more about the credentials of both organisations
+ see where your group study workshop would be held, in instances where the open
evenings are held in our study venues.
We'll also be covering transition options for anyone who is already part-way through studying for their CIPD qualification but would like to transfer onto the new Advanced Level programme before the last start dates in Summer 2012.
How do online open evenings work?
Just like a webinar, at an online open evening you can log on to the Internet and view a live presentation and hear from a range of speakers. So even if you're unable to join us at one of our popular face-to-face events, you'll still be able to get all the information you need online.
The sessions are hosted by experts from the CIPD and MOL and include presentations from CIPD Flexible Learning+ facilitators, programme managers and past learners. Importantly, at an online open evening you can ask questions and get involved in the session via text chat, microphone or telephone conference - whichever suits you best.
In these 1 hour online sessions we aim to provide you with an opportunity to:
+ better understand what CIPD Flexible Learning+ is and how it is different to other
methods of gaining a CIPD qualification
+ find out more about the unique blend of workshops, learner resources and support
you’ll receive throughout your studies
+ take a tour of the Virtual Learning Environment
+ ask questions of the facilitators and programme managers.
