Whilst there are no exams for this certificate, you will be assessed in a variety of ways.
Written assessments
- written reflections which will help you to reflect on your own performance and the contribution which you make to your own organisation
- essays and reports which will help you to structure and organise your assignments, present information in a concise manner and develop your business writing skills.
Skill assessments
- these will enable you to demonstrate your practical understanding of HR skills all under the guidance of skilled and knowledgeable facilitators who will be able to give you structured feedback on your performance.
Knowledge assessments
- such as mini tests - conducted via the Virtual Learning Environment - or mini written submissions or mini case studies to explore workplace situations and problem solving skills.
Mini case studies
- to explore workplace situations and problem-solving skills.
You will also produce a personal development plan based on self assessment which will help you to:
- identify areas where you need professional development
- manage your own learning and growth
- record the results of your professional development.
You will receive structured developmental feedback on all of the assessment which you carry out as part of the certificate programme.
There are no examinations for this programme.
On successful completion of the programme you will be awarded the CIPD Foundation Level Certificate in L&D Practice. You will also have gained the knowledge required for Associate professional level of CIPD membership.
