There are two levels of qualification offered by CIPD Flexible Learning+, Foundation Level (3)and Advanced Level (7).
Foundation Level (3) qualifications
+ Certificate in HR Practice (CHRP)
+ Certificate in L&D Practice (CLDP)
Who are the Foundation Level qualifications for?
The Foundation Level (3) programmes are ideal if you want to gain the essential knowledge and skills required to move into HR or L&D, or if you're a manager with responsibility for management and development.
Set at level 3 (QCF), our Foundation Level qualifications also give you a professionally recognised qualification and the knowledge towards CIPD Associate professional membership.
Advanced Level (7) qualifications
+ Diploma in HRM or HRD
+ Certificate in HRM or HRD
+ Masters (MA)
Our Advanced Level (7) qualifications, at postgraduate or masters level, have been designed in line with the CIPD standards so we can now offer a range of grades. The CIPD Advanced Diploma, replaces the Professional Development Scheme (PDS).
Each of our Advanced Level (7) qualifications allow you the opportunity to specialise in your chosen field of Human Resources Management (HRM) or Human Resources Development (HRD).
Who are the Advanced Level (7) qualifications for?
Set at postgraduate level, out Advanced Level qualifications will develop your understanding of organisations and the external context within which HR operates. Using critical analysis, self-relfection and problem-solving techniques, you will learn how to develop and implement creative and strategic HR solutions that drive organisational performance.
CIPD Advanced qualifications provide you with a professionally recognised qualification, plus our Advanced diploma provides the underpinning knowledge towards CIPD professional membership (Associate, Chartered Member or Chartered Fellow).
If you want to become an effective HR or L&D practitioner - whether working as a manager or consultant, either in generalist or specialist roles - this level could be for you.
Our Advanced Level Diploma takes the place of the CIPD’s Professional Development Scheme (PDS), the most widely recognised professional qualification for HR and development practitioners.
If you want to go further and achieve Masters level, or you wish to study only the fields of study most relevant to you and achieve Certificate level, our programmes offer the flexibility for you to study as much or as little as you'd like.
Don't worry if you are currently studying for your CIPD qualification via the PDS - the programme is still relevant and will lead to the qualification you expected.
