If you are already studying for your CIPD qualification, or have already completed part with another provider, don’t worry, your qualification will still be up to date and lead to the qualification you originally expected.
However, if you would like to transition onto the new Advanced Level programme, or if you would like to use what you have covered to date towards the new qualifications, we can still offer you a solution, whatever parts you have already completed, and however you have achieved them.
Does it matter which PDS fields I have already completed?
No. Whatever you have completed to date, we can work out a transition programme for you.
For example:
+ If you have completed the Leadership and Management field of the PDS, you have
already completed two core units out of four towards the new advanced level
certificate.
Or
+ If you have completed any of the generalist or specialist electives from the PDS, this
is equivalent to completing an optional unit from the new advanced level qualifications.
When is the deadline to transition?
If you would like your studies to count towards your new route onto the Advanced Level programmes don't delay as the last start dates for transition programmes will be in summer 2012.
