What do I pay?
To join you’ll need to pay a one-off admission fee and an annual subscription fee.
Admission fee
The admission fee is a one-off payment due from candidates who are not currently in membership.
Annual subscription fee
A full subscription year starts on 1 July and runs through to 30 June. Your subscription fee will therefore be due for renewal on 1 July each year.
How much do I pay?
Members who are studying on a CIPD accredited course pay a lower admission fee than members in other grades. The tables below show the rates for 2010-2011. Please note that if you choose the up to 18 months of membership option, your subscription fees will freeze at 2010 rates until 30 June 2012.

Please note: CIPD Head Office sets an exchange rate at the start of the new subscription year (July) for the conversion of Euro to Sterling. The rate for 2010-2011 was set at €1.10 to £1 in July 2010.
How can I pay?
You can pay by Euro Cheque, Sterling Draft or Credit Card. For your convenience we recommend payment by Credit Card. All cheques must be made payable to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). If you’re using a company cheque please ensure that your name is clearly stated on the back.
