This report and its recommendations are based on the discussions and insights of the Family Friendly Working Hours Taskforce - a group of representatives from business, organisations that represent business, employees and families, non-government bodies and government departments – to provide an expert perspective on flexible working practices.
A number of recommendations to support cultural change with regard to flexible working are included – these should increase the number and range of jobs that can be worked flexibly in some way, and so increase the supply of high quality staff to employers.
