The role of HR in corporate responsibility
This research, conducted in 2012, examines the role of the HR function in embedding corporate responsbility in all aspects of the business. The report includes a survey of HR and other managers, in-depth interviews with HR directors and heads of corporate responsibility. The case studies are from: Capgemini, Ginsters, Pret A Manger, Siemens, Toyota GB, Veolia Environmental Services and Wates.
"Corporate responsibility is all about stakeholders, inside and outside of the organisation,
and making sure that the right discussions happen with the right people involved.
The crucial point is that HR is not absolved from the corporate responsibility of other aspects of the business and needs to be able and willing to ask the challenging questions."
