This paper reports the findings of a survey which sought the views of over 750 employed people about their experiences of training at work. It provides data on whether they had received training, what they thought of the training they received, and their preferred methods of learning.
The survey covers:
- how much training people received
- how successful the training was
- learner preference regarding different methods of delivery
- the use of electronic equipment
- Government support for training.
The paper draws out the conclusions and implications, and a survey provides some key statistics pointing to inequality of learning provision.
