Resource summary

The second HR Outlook is designed to provide insight and expert commentary on the HR profession and emerging trends within HR. It forms part of the CIPD’s Outlook series alongside our well-established Labour Market Outlook and Employee Outlook.

The survey draws on the input and views of senior HR leaders within UK organisations. The report findings are likely to interest all those working in HR. However, we anticipate the results are likely to be of particular interest to those leading HR departments as they:

  • take stock of current and future issues and challenges facing their teams and organisations
  • identify perceptions of the HR function
  • consider how best to operate and organise as a function
  • make plans to build the HR capability they need for the future.
