Our PDS qualification is accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) as a Level 7 qualification (revised from a Level 5 in January 2006).
If you're studying with a nationally assessed centre and began your studies after September 2002, you are eligible to receive a Postgraduate Certificate and a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel and Development. These are issued four times a year to successful students in February, May, August and November.
Postgraduate Diploma
To qualify for a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel and Development, you must successfully complete all four fields of the PDS. At least 50% of the qualification must have been completed through a nationally assessed centre and one of these fields must be Applied Personnel and Development.
Postgraduate Certificate
Postgraduate Certificates are also awarded when a clear stream has been followed, at a nationally assessed centre. There are seven different Postgraduate Certificates available and the criteria for each one is set out below. You will only receive one Postgraduate Certificate depending on which criteria you meet first.

Criteria: Completion of the Core Management/Leadership and Management field and the Applied Personnel and Development field

Criteria: Completion of the Electives field and the Applied Personnel and Development field

Postgraduate Certificate in Personnel and Development (People Resourcing)
Criteria: Completion of four electives in the People Resourcing stream and the Applied Personnel and Development field

Criteria: Completion of four electives in the Learning and Development stream and the Applied Personnel and Development field
