Gain approval to run educational programmes

To begin the process of applying for approval to run an educational programme, please contact the Educational Quality Management team at CIPD headquarters. You'll find useful information about making an application in part 1 of the quality management handbooks for both PDS and Certificate programmes.

Summary of the process:

Step 1

Contact us or phone +44 020 8612 6243 to obtain advice and guidance on your proposed application.

Step 2

If you decide to proceed, you'll be invited to attend a new centre workshop to cover the process of preparing and developing a submission.

Step 3

Following attendance at the workshop you'll be requested to produce four hard copies of a submission document, which provides full details about your proposed programme, including how you intend to meet our Professional Standards.

Step 4

We'll review your submission, but may need additional evidence before moving on to the next step.

Step 5

We'll visit your centre and either approve the programme or set conditions, which must be met before approval, can be granted.

Step 6

Following final approval (when all conditions have been met) we'll produce an agreement of terms and conditions for you to sign.
