Midlands Area Partnership

CIPD Branches - networking, insights and professional support

Welcome to the Midlands Area Partnership

The Midlands Area Partnership (MAP) is a regional group of eight branches in the Midlands area which combine to cover 15,000 CIPD members. The group aims to promote the CIPD purpose throughout the Midlands region by sharing best practice, improving links between the individual branches and providing networking opportunities for all our members.

The eight branches are – Birmingham, Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire, Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire, Hereford & Worcester, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire.

MAP runs an annual event every autumn. This is a full day event attended by over 200 CIPD members and provides a great opportunity to meet other HR and L&D professionals from across the Midlands.

The 2016 Midlands Area Partnership Event

This will take place on Saturday 8 October and will be held at Chesford Grange in Warwickshire.  We will be joined by CIPD CEO Peter Cheese who will lead our discussions on the current issues in the world of work. There will be a range of other speakers and workshops with an exhibition and great opportunities for you to network with your fellow CIPD members from across the Midlands region.

For information about sponsorship and exhibition opportunities please contact the CIPD Midlands Area Partnership.
