Welcome from the Chair

Welcome to the CIPD Leicestershire Branch area. The branch has 1,750 CIPD members who either live or work in Leicestershire. 

We aim to add value to our local membership by promoting, sharing and developing best practice in the management and development of people and organisations.

We run regular branch meetings for members covering a wide range of topics; details of forthcoming events can be found on our Events page, where you can also book online. 

The branch runs a Special Interest Group for HR Leaders and Senior HR Practitioners. This holds regular lunchtime meetings and provides a great opportunity to network with other HR Directors and Heads of HR. For further information contact the group leader Maureen Tallis.

The Branch Committee

Leicestershire Branch is run by a group of volunteer branch members, with Nick Austin as Branch Chair. Offers of support are always welcome, and participation on the committee offers the chance for individuals to network, develop their skills and confidence.

Senior Practitioners' Group

There is a Senior Practitioners' Group that meets on occasional Friday lunchtimes through the year. The group is led by Maureen Tallis. Please contact us if you would like further information.
