form.
If you've got the relevant experience, you can apply to upgrade
from Graduate to Chartered Member and then to Chartered Fellow,
simultaneously. To do this you'll first need to meet the criteria
for Chartered Member. In such cases, you'll only need to submit one
application and pay one fee.
Chartered Companion (Chartered CCIPD)
Gained by invitation only. We award this in recognition of a
significant contribution to the profession or Institute.
CPD: the key to optimising your opportunities
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a mandatory
requirement for all grades of membership. To support your
application to upgrade you'll need to provide us with details of
your CPD. Specifically you need to provide evidence that you've
updated your knowledge and skills over the last 12 months and that
you have a plan for the forthcoming year. It's important that
you're able to reflect on your learning and show how you have added
value in a professional capacity.
To show evidence of your CPD you can:
- use our standard templates, or
- complete the Personal Statement in Section 2 of the upgrading
application form, or
- use another format that works for you.
It's the content rather than the presentation of your
CPD that we're interested in.
