This Level 2 qualification provides you with a stepping stone
into management and supervisory skills. This qualification is aimed
at employees who are team leaders rather than managers.
To achieve a full award you must complete six units, made up of
four mandatory units and two optional units.
Successful completion of the mandatory units will mean that you
will develop core team leading skills. You will be able to organise
and improve your team's work; ensure your own actions reduce risks
to health and safety; maintain and develop effective working
relationships and organise and communicate information.
Resolving customer services problems and helping team members to
develop your performance are among the optional units that can be
taken to complete the award. Others focus on organising team
resources, organising and developing yourself and using information
technology to enter and find data.

throughout the UK. The centres are monitored against the national
criteria ensuring you are assessed to the highest standards.
