National and Scottish Vocational Qualifications (NVQs/SVQs) provide a competence-based workplace assessment, if you are already 'doing the job'. They are also an alternative to college study.
They are:
- nationally accredited
- relevant to business needs
- available in a range of subject areas and at all job levels
- offered as whole qualifications or individual units.
So what is available?
We offer full NVQs at levels 2, 3, 4 and 5, as well as a number of unit and certificate awards. We also offer jointly awarded SVQs with the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) at levels 3, 4 and 5.
