Former CIPD or IPD members
If you've been a member of the CIPD, or the former Institute of Personnel and Development (IPD) you may be able to rejoin at the grade you previously held.
What to do next
Simply print the application form below, fill it in and return it to us with the relevant membership fees. (Please see the application form for more details).
If your application is based on a qualification from the former IPM or ITD you'll also need to enclose a copy of your qualification certificate.
If you're applying to join as a Graduate or chartered member, you'll also need to provide a CV and evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). You'll need to enclose a development record that covers the past year and a development plan for the forthcoming year.
If you're applying to return as a Chartered Member or Chartered Fellow, your CV will need to show that you have at least three years current experience. For Chartered Member, this experience must be at managerial level, for Chartered Fellow, it needs to be at strategic level.
