Each year over 12,000 individuals start or enhance their current HR career by studying an industry-recognised HR or L&D qualification from the CIPD.
They join as CIPD Student members at the start of their study programme. This ensures that their CIPD qualification is recognised by the CIPD and counts towards professional membership after study. On a practical note, CIPD student membership also provides exclusive access to a wealth of essential HR resources, development tools and networking opportunities.
Joining as a Student member
To join as a Student member, you’ll first need to be enrolled on a CIPD approved qualification programme. Search for a CIPD HR or L&D qualification at a CIPD Centre near you here.
Your study centre will provide you with a 'registration key', which will enable you to join at a discounted fee. You’ll pay a one-off joining fee of just £40 and an annual membership fee of £90 to cover membership until 30 June 2015.
Use you 'registration key' to join online.
You can pay for your membership in one go by Annual Direct Debit or credit card. Alternatively, you can spread the cost over the year by quarterly Direct Debit.
