Student membership fees
If you are studying a CIPD Certificate or Diploma qualification, you are required to join the CIPD as a Student member at the start of your programme. Upon successful completion of your programme you’ll automatically become an Associate professional member which will entitle you to use Assoc CIPD after your name. This ensures that your qualification is recognised by CIPD and that you receive access to essential HR and development resources and student resources to support you in your study and throughout your career. It also means you’ll avoid paying a non-registration fee (see below). As a Student member you’ll pay a one-off reduced admission fee and an annual membership fee.
|Length of subscription||Student membership fee||Renewal date|
Admission fee = £40
Subscription fee = £90
Total = £130
|1 July 2015|
To take advantage of our reduced student admission fee you’ll need to join at the start of your qualification. If you don’t join at the start of your qualification and decide to join us later you will be asked to pay a non-registration fee (outlined below) as well as a full admission fee and the relevant subscription at that time.
Membership fees for new members
To join you’ll need to pay a one-off admission fee and a subscription fee. Your subscription fee will then be due each year for renewal on 1 July.

Haven't renewed your 2013 membership?
To keep your membership of the CIPD active you are required to renew your membership every year by paying a renewal fee. The renewal fee is due by 1 July every year. If you haven't paid this fee by 30 September 2013 your membership and all related member benefits and services, including professional designation, will stop.
If you've recently lapsed your membership and would like to rejoin, call us today on +44 (0)20 8612 6242 to reactivate your CIPD membership.
If your membership expired more than a year ago and you wish to reactivate your membership after 30 April you’ll need to pay a readmission fee (currently £70 and £40 for students) and a subscription fee to rejoin.
