Code of conduct

HRD 2008
The aim of this service is to facilitate communication between delegates only. As a participant we would draw your attention to the terms and conditions for use detailed below, particularly item 3.

  1. Delegates Direct is provided solely for the purpose of conference delegates to make contact with each other. Under no circumstances may you use the service to advertise your services, or the products and services of any company or organisation with which are you are associated.
  2. When you send an email via Delegates Direct you are responsible for ensuring that no material, activity or communication you make (a) infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity, (b) breaches any applicable law, or (c) is offensive, threatening, obscene, pornographic, false, unreliable or misleading
  3. The CIPD reserves the right to suspend or terminate you from access and use of the Delegates Direct service, for any reason. Please note that recipients of emails will be encouraged to report any contravention of these terms to the CIPD, who will act accordingly.
  4. The CIPD are not and cannot be held responsible for the behaviour of Delegates Direct users. We only provide a venue where Delegates Direct may be accessed. We do not pre-screen or monitor the material contained within emails and are therefore reliant on users to point out any which infringe this agreement.
  5. If you feel that any email you receive is unacceptable for any reason, contact the CIPD privately by email at training.hotline@cipd.co.uk to raise your concerns.
  6. You are reminded that your use of Delegates Direct is subject to the CIPD website Terms and Conditions.
