A comprehensive online resource for anyone who designs or delivers training has been developed by the CIPD. Called ToolClicks, the new subscription-based resource provides users with the building blocks to create an effective training course. Practical materials and information resources in different media can be mixed and matched to produce a tailored training programme. For example, as well as customisable handouts and presentations, checklists and evaluation tools, trainers can draw on a variety of DVD clips that will help to engage learners. Whatever their level or area of expertise, trainers can also use the online resource to keep up to date and build their own learning. Podcasts, blogs and comment from learning and development experts provide the opportunity for subscribers to share ideas and engage in discussion with fellow training professionals. The resource also includes access to the latest CIPD research and case study material.ToolClicks is made up of three products, focusing on key areas of training. Interpersonal skills covers topics such as communication, personal development, facilitation skills and customers service. Management focuses on four broad areas: management development, including absence management and managing remote workers, performance management, health and well-being and coaching. The Learning ToolClick covers design, delivery, evaluation and learning technologies, including live online learning.Subscriptions are available for one, two or all three of the ToolClicks range.
