Richard Sedley

Richard has had 20+ years in the creative/customer experience field, the last 16 in online/digital. In recent years he’s focused on psychology and persuasion, in the context of creating employee and customer engagement.
As Commercial Director at Foviance he oversees the company's Client Relationship, New Business and Marketing teams. Foviance is one of the UK's leading customer experience consultancies, combining customer behavioural research with user experience planning, to advise our clients how to develop business strategies that optimise the effectiveness of their customer interactions.
Before moving to Foviance, Richard spent 11 years at cScape. A digital agency, setting up the cScape Customer Engagement Unit in 2006 and developed a team of specialist consultants that delivered on all aspects of online marketing and communications.
March 2008 also saw the publication of 'Winners
and Losers in a Troubled Economy: how to engage customers online to gain competitive advantage'
which looks at the importance of customer engagement during harder economic conditions.

Neil Morrison
, Group HR Director, Random House
After starting his working life as a lecturer in Psychology, Neil took his first role in HR management in 1996. For the next 12 years he worked in a variety of specialist and generalist HR roles in FTSE100 companies, including Rentokil Initial and GUS, latterly Home Retail Group.
Neil joined the Random House Group in September 2008 taking responsibility for Human Resources, Learning and Development and Facilities. In November 2010 Neil was appointed to the main board.
Neil is a regular commentator on Human Resources and workplace issues and has written for a number of trade and generalist publications and websites on a range of topics.
