Biography
Vanessa Robinson joined the CIPD in April 2004. She is responsible for research in effective organisational design and change management. Other key responsibilities include research into HR and technology, building on earlier HR outsourcing work and research into the changing shape of the HR function. Other interests include talent management and leadership .
She holds a first degree in psychology and a masters degree in human resource management and is a chartered member of the CIPD.
Prior to joining the CIPD Vanessa has had a diverse career. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant she has spent much of her career in consulting roles, including Coopers & Lybrand, Cap Gemini and WPP.
