Biography

Dianah has worked in the diversity field for over 25 years and has a raft of national-level experience and some at international level. She has been awarded an OBE for her services to diversity.

She leads the CIPD’s research and public policy work on diversity, producing good practice guidance for employers and helping to create a more enabling infrastructure to support diversity progress. Her influencing role includes serving on national-level advisory boards in connection with public policy development and academic research. She is currently focusing her research on producing guidance on managing an ageing workforce and on driving diversity progress in business.

Dianah started her career in the Civil Service and gained experience in the postal and telecommunications industries, later specialising in people management.
