2010 has turned out to be a much better year for jobs than most analysts expected, with the number of people in work increasing and unemployment falling slightly. Although around 0.5 million people have been made redundant in 2010, far from being 'jobs light' the relatively strong UK economic recovery to date has been 'jobs lined'.
