About the Advanced diploma Human Resource Development
Our flagship Advanced level diploma Human Resource Development (HRD) develops the professional knowledge and skills required to perform effectively in specialist roles associated with the design, delivery and evaluation of learning and development.
The diploma takes between 2 and 2.5 years to complete if studied on a part-time taught basis. This may vary if you choose a full-time, block, supported distance learning or mixed mode programme.
The knowledge for CIPD professional membership
CIPD Advanced level diplomas (and approved equivalent university qualifications) cover the underpinning knowledge required for CIPD Associate, Chartered Member or Chartered Fellow.

What does the Advanced diploma in HR Development cover?
Completing the qualification in full amounts to 120 credits (FHEQ). Choose 8 modules, including 4 core modules and 4 optional modules. Your optional modules must include 3 from group A and a maximum 1 from group B.
