CIPD qualifications are designed to cover the full scope of professional competence, from foundation (level 3 or A'level equivalent) through to advance level (equivalent to a postgraduate qualification).

Delivered in the UK, Ireland and internationally by universities, colleges and training providers, over 13,000 students join CIPD programmes each year to enhance their knowledge on the latest theory, cast studies and insights into best practice HR.

New CIPD qualifications
In addition to our current portfolio we’ve introduced a new suite of qualifications to reflect the knowledge and skills specified in the CIPD HR Profession Map and revised membership criteria.
The new CIPD qualifications are reflective of employers requirements and illustrate what HR practitioners need to know, do and deliver at all stages of their career. They present HR in a business context and offer greater flexibility in approach.
Current programmes will continue to run and the last intake will be the end of December 2010. As the majority of start dates occur in September, to avoid disappointment customers should aim to register during September 2010.
There are currently a small number of centres offering new qualifications, and we expect this number to increase for the start of the academic year September 2010.
