We're currently phasing in a new suite of qualifications to reflect the content of the CIPD HR Profession Map, which define what HR practitioners need to know, do and deliver.
The new qualifications will be available at foundation, intermediate (coming soon) and advanced levels and over time will replace our current portfolio of qualifications. You can choose to study awards, certificates or diplomas at any of these levels.
Foundation level
Building on the success of our highly regarded Certificate in Personnel Practice and Certificate in Training Practice, our new Foundation-level qualifications will provide you with the business understanding and practical skills required for working in HR in a support level role.
Advanced level
Replacing our flagship Professional Development Scheme, our new Advanced (postgraduate) level qualifications cover all the essential skills required to be an effective HR practitioner. Through critical analysis and investigation, you will develop your understanding of the business and international context within which HR operates, as well as the role of HR in driving organisational performance.
