Career management

  • We commissioned the Institute for Employment Studies to carry out a research project investigating the career paths of HR professionals. The report from the project Managing and developing HR careers: emerging trends and issues provides an insight into the nature and scope of HR careers today.     The research included eight case studies which looked at how organisations are managing and developing the careers of their HR professionals. The organisations were Cancer Research UK, Centrica, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, Hays at Liverpool Victoria, Hewitt Associates, Lovells, Prudential (UK and Europe), and Tameside Council
