Report on an event held on 15 May 2006 where senior HR practitioners shared their thoughts on the changing shape of the HR function. The event was organised by the CIPD research team and hosted by the Royal Bank of Scotland.
The report presents the conclusions that emerged from the proceedings alongside the perspectives of well-known academics in the field. Three key themes emerged:
- the reality of HR
- the impact of the HR function
- the future profile of HR.
