In 2007 CIPD completed a research project examining how organisations are identifying, developing, deploying and retaining talent, and to what extent this is part of a proactive approach to talent management. The research was carried out for the CIPD by Nottingham Business School.The full report on the project, Talent: Strategy, Management and Measurement, which includes detailed case studies from nine organisations, was published in August 2007.
