This is a quick and effective tool illustrating the importance of probing as an interpersonal skill. It helps participants realise that probing is not as easy as we often think it is, shows them how to probe effectively, and enables them to realise the incredible benefits of this universal interpersonal skill. You may expect participants, as a result of this exercise, to be better at various activities including selling, negotiating, persuading, influencing and coaching.

By tracking on the flipchart the ratio of talking between the pairs, participants can see as well as feel their progress.
