Adapting your delivery style

There are four main styles of delivery that we can use when use when we are training – involving, facilitating, selling and telling. As trainers, most of us have a preferred style of delivery. However, we need to be able to adapt our own styles according to the subject matter we are covering, the time available and the experience level of the participants attending.

This tool is for new and inexperienced trainers to help them understand when to use different styles.
