As a trainer, you need be confident that course participants can understand and apply what they have learnt. An effective way to check for understanding is to create a series of errors or faults for participants to spot and rectify.

This tool is for trainers who need to check that course participants are able to understand and apply what they have learnt when they return to the work environment.

Tool aims
This tool will enable you to:
  • Check that participants are able to spot and rectify faults and errors when they return to the workplace
  • Use error based exercises to identify misunderstandings and provide further help where
