An important part of minimising absences is to develop a culture whereby attendance is the norm and employees attend work whenever they are able.

This tool encourages learners to understand the benefits of attendance including higher employee commitment, lower staff turnover and an improved reputation for the organisation as an employer. It introduces strategies that could be implemented in the learners' own organisation in order to increase attendance, such as improved employee benefits and ensuring job satisfaction.
