Avoiding bias in performance management

Bias distorts performance reviews, warps feedback and sours relationships. There are two types of bias: intentional and unintentional. This Tool concerns the latter type (because anyone who is intentionally biased needs counselling rather than training). Unintentional bias is something to which we are all prone, yet its effects can be as damaging as intentional bias.
