In our knowledge-based economy competitive advantage is built where individuals seek to acquire the knowledge and skills to meet organisational needs and objectives. To perform effectively L&D professionals must think beyond the operational confines of the immediate training task and assess what learning and development events will add most value at individual and organisation levels.
