Module overview


The Health and Safety Law course is a 1-day course which equips participants with an understanding of current UK health and safety law, and provides guidance on how to manage health and safety issues in the workplace.

By the end of the Health and Safety Law course, you will be able to:
  • list the health and safety requirements for your workplace
  • understand the roles and responsibilities of managers and employees
  • undertake a review of health and safety management systems appropriate to your organisation
  • assess the principles and practicalities of risk assessment and risk management options.

Health and Safety Law can be completed as a standalone course, or as part of the advanced level qualifications in employment law programme.
