Return on investment and added value are terms which today's L&D practitioners use to justify their learning and development solutions to the business. And these are the factors that ultimately form the basis of success for an organisation in achieving competitive advantage through individual, team and organisational learning.

The CIPD Advanced Certificate in Learning and Development is a blended learning programme comprising a unique combination of face-to-face workshops, online activities, interactive and independent learning. The online activities, toolkits and tasks are based on a case study and, in your learning set, you will work through tasks in your role as a learning and development practitioner.

Who is it for?

The Advanced Certificate is suitable for L&D practitioners who are actively involved in providing learning and development solutions either within an organisation, or as an external L&D consultant, and/or outsourced provider of learning and development.

How long does it take to complete?

The Certificate programme is designed to be completed over a 20 week* period culminating in CIPD's national examination in either May or November. The three, one-day face-to-face workshops take place over the first 10 weeks of the programme with online case study activities being undertaken after each workshop. The second 10 weeks include assignment preparation and submission, attendance of the revision day and examination preparation.
