1) Who is the Certificate aimed at?
The Advanced Certificate is suitable for senior L&D practitioners with at least 4 years experience who are actively involved in providing learning and development solutions either within an organisation, or as an external L&D consultant, and/or outsourced provider of learning and development.
2) How can I use what I learn back at work?
On completion of the Advanced Certificate you will be able to:
- differentiate between 'value for money' and 'adding value'
- conduct a learning and development audit
- measure intangible and tangible values
- use a range of marketing methods and approaches to market the learning and development process
- build, operate and maintain effective business partnerships
- respond to changing objectives or strategy
- calculate 'payback' and 'pay-forward' to ensure added value
- design and manage career systems and assessment process for talent management
- develop tools to identify future potential in employees
- design management development programmes.
3) What is the format?
To be awarded the Advanced Certificate you must:
- attend the three, one-day face-to-face workshops
- complete online case study activities within learning sets
- successfully complete a skills based assignment
- successfully complete a written assignment
- attend the revision day
- pass the CIPD's national examination
- maintain a personal development portfolio that demonstrates a satisfactory level of learning and development.
4) How long will it take?
The Certificate takes 20 weeks to complete. You have a maximum of one year to complete the requirements of the programme.
5) Does the Certificate lead to CIPD membership?
No, the Certificate does not lead to membership of the CIPD.
6) How much does the programme cost?
£2,999.00 + VAT
