The contribution required from L&D specialists is to build a commitment to learning at individual, team and organisational level, together with provision of a range of learning solutions that maximise organisational learning and thus competitive advantage.

Online activities, toolkits and tasks are based on a case study and in your learning set you will work through tasks in your role as a learning and development practitioner. In addition to skills development the certificate is designed to provide you with the latest knowledge, ideas and trends in organisational learning.

Who is it for?

The Advanced Certificate is suitable for senior L&D practitioners who are aspiring to, or actively involved in, the management of organisational learning.

How long does it take to complete?

The certificate programme is designed to be completed over a 20 week* period culminating in CIPD's national examination in either May or November. The three, one-day face-to-face workshops take place over the first 10 weeks of the programme with online case study activities being undertaken after each workshop. The second 10 weeks include assignment preparation and submission, attendance at the revision day and examination preparation.
