The Reward at Work faculty comprises many of the leading reward specialists, senior HR practitioners and academics engaged in reward management today. They have been selected because of their proven expertise and experience across public, private and voluntary sectors and their commitment to reward as central to organisational and business success.
The faculty is committed to assisting the CIPD in developing practical guidance on reward issues, broadening the appeal and relevance of reward work and enhancing its impact. It is responsible for ensuring that the Reward at Work range of products and services, including the CIPD Advanced Certificate in Reward Management, remains high-quality, up to date, comprehensive and relevant.
John Beadle, Chartered MCIPD
John is CIPD Vice-President Reward and Head of Group Performance and Reward at HSBC.
Mark Childs, Chartered CCIPD
Mark is a reward management consultant, the former Global Compensation and Benefits Director at Fidelity Investments and a past CIPD Vice-President Reward.
Tim Evans, Chartered FCIPD
Tim is a consultant specialising in reward management advice to voluntary and not-for-profit organisations and former Head of Reward and Strategic Planning at Cancer Research UK.
Helen Murlis, Chartered CCIPD
Helen is a director at Hay Group with a particular interest in public sector practice and is a well known speaker and writer on reward strategy and reward management. She is also an external examiner for the University of Brighton’s Master’s degree programme in HR.
Stephen Perkins, Chartered FCIPD
Stephen is Professor of Human Resource Management at London Metropolitan University, and a visiting research fellow at City University. He is co-author of the new edition CIPD Employee Reward text.
Clive Wright, Chartered FCIPD
Clive chairs the CIPD Reward Forum and is the European Partner and member of the client management practice at Mercer Human Resource Consulting.
Vicky Wright, Chartered CCIPD
Vicky is an associate at Watson Wyatt and formerly head of performance and reward at Ernst & Young. She is CIPD President and past CIPD Vice-President Reward.
Charles Cotton, Chartered FCIPD
Charles's is CIPD's reward policy adviser. He frequently appears in the media commentating on reward issues, regularly presents research at conference events and sits on a number of advisory bodies and commitees.
Jo Kelly, Chartered FCIPD
With over 20 years experience in the public sector, Jo is currently Head of Group Compensation and Benefits for Transport for London. Since 2003 she has focused on the development of an integrated reward strategy for TfL and an organisation-wide approach to voluntary benefits and salary sacrifice.
