The CIPD Advanced Certificate in Strategic L&D Management is a blended learning programme comprising a unique combination of face-to-face workshops, online activities, interactive and independent learning.
Online activities, toolkits and tasks are based on a case study and in your learning set you will work through tasks in your role as a learning and development practitioner.
The Advanced Certificate programme is designed to develop your skill and capability in management, marketing and business partnering. Through a range of different approaches you will learn how to manage your learning and development team, market your learning and development services, and produce strong business cases for learning and development solutions.
Who is it for?
This Advanced Certificate is suitable for senior L&D practitioners who are actively involved in managing learning and development services. It is also suitable for external L&D consultants and those working in an outsourced function, who wish to develop their management and marketing skills and the ability to present business proposals to clients and potential clients.
How long does it take to complete?
The certificate programme is designed to be completed over a 20 week* period culminating in CIPD's national examination in either May or November. The three, one-day face-to-face workshops take place over the first 10 weeks of the programme with online case study activities being undertaken after each workshop. The second 10 weeks include assignment preparation and submission, attendance at the revision day and examination preparation.
