Who is the Certificate aimed at?
The Certificate in Blended Learning is recommended for all learning and development specialists, as well as managers responsible for commissioning or advising on training. No prior technical knowledge is required.
What will I learn?
On completion of the Certificate you will be able to:

How long does it take to do the Certificate?
The duration of the qualification is 20 weeks.You have a maximum of one year to complete the requirements of the Certificate described below in ‘What must I do to gain the Certificate?’
How many hours will I have to study per week?
You will be expected to put aside 3-4 hours per week.
What must I do to gain the Certificate?
To complete the Certificate students must complete all of the following four units:

Complete this online module which covers moderating discussion forums and chat sessions, facilitating live online events using web conferencing software and using blogs (online journals), wikis (websites for which users generate the content).

Implementation plan for a real-world blended learning programme within your organisation.
Can I take a holiday during the year long period?
The booking conditions of this certificate state that you cannot take a long (more than a month) holiday during the course. Although holiday can be taken, the modules are set and these dates cannot be missed. You must also be prepared to catch up on any missed work due to holidays.
How do I apply to study the Certificate?
You need to complete a certificate booking form.
Will this certificate count towards CIPD membership?
The Certificate will not count towards membership.
What are the fees for Certificate?
For CIPD Members £2,999.00 + VAT and for non CIPD members £3,145.00 + VAT.
Can I split the payments up?
Yes. There is now the option of paying on a module-by-module basis. For CIPD members: £3150 + VAT and for non-members: £3300 + VAT.
